Booking Policy
Love Literacy/Love Education CIC’s Terms and Conditions for parents and guardians are outlined below. Please read them carefully. Parents are advised to go through the ‘Student’ section with their child to ensure they fully understand what they are agreeing to.
Parents are expected to check their children’s exercise books, support with homework and discuss their child’s learning weekly.
In the event that a student is absent, the full fee remains payable. Students are responsible for catching up on missed work.
Fees are paid in advance for each course either in full or via monthly subscription through www.love-literacy.com. Both face-to-face and online lessons run throughout the academic year unless otherwise specified.
Year 11 classes conclude at the end of April each year, unless additional lessons are requested by parents, in which case further fees will apply.

One-off workshops and courses are non-refundable upon booking. In cases of illness or emergency, efforts may be made to offer alternative arrangements, at the discretion of the Director.
One-to-one lessons may be re-scheduled with 24 hours’ notice.
Students, parents, and staff must not attend sessions if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, Monkeypox, or other communicable illnesses. Where parallel classes take place, students may attend an alternative class if advance notice is given. While every effort will be made to accommodate this, placement is subject to availability.
Love Literacy/Love Education CIC reserves the right to withdraw a student or terminate enrolment if behaviour from the student or parent breaches our Safeguarding, Behaviour, or Inclusion Policies, or is deemed disruptive or inappropriate by the Director. Refunds are not guaranteed in such circumstances.
Parents are expected to collect their children promptly at the end of each session. Tutors and staff are not responsible for supervision after the scheduled end time. Repeated late collection may result in an administrative fee or a review of suitability for continued enrolment.
Communication with families will be via email, SMS, or our website. Homework, progress feedback, and key announcements will be issued routinely. Parents should ensure their contact information remains up-to-date.
All student data is handled confidentially and in accordance with our Confidentiality and GDPR Policy. This is available on request or via our website.
All terms and conditions are subject to the Director’s discretion.
Student Terms and Conditions
The following terms apply to all students enrolled at Love Literacy/Love Education CIC. It is important that students understand these expectations to make the most of their learning experience and support a safe, respectful and purposeful learning environment.
Students must:

Arrive on time for all sessions, having used the restroom beforehand and bringing bottled water.

Demonstrate 100% effort and respectful behaviour towards staff, peers and the learning environment at all times.

Complete all independent study tasks and homework set by their teacher to the best of their ability.

Bring required materials to every lesson including: exercise books, pencil case with pen, pencil, ruler, dictionary/thesaurus, scientific calculator, protractor set and a green pen for peer/self-assessment.

Present all work neatly and in accordance with Love Literacy presentation standards (titles underlined, dates included, legible writing).

Catch up on any missed work due to absence, and check with a tutor or peer if unsure about what was covered.
For online students:

Log in at least 10 minutes before the session start time to ensure technology is working.

Have their camera switched on for the duration of the lesson to support engagement and safeguarding.

Be seated in a quiet, well-lit environment with minimal distractions and background noise.

Use appropriate virtual backgrounds as provided or approved by Love Literacy.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in communication with parents/carers and, if necessary, a review of the student's place at Love Literacy/Love Education CIC. These conditions exist to safeguard students, promote a positive learning environment and ensure all learners achieve their full potential.

Refund Policy
At Love Literacy/Love Education CIC, we are committed to providing a clear and transparent refund policy for our educational services and physical products. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for tuition services, one-off workshops, and physical materials purchased through our website or in person.
Tuition Services and Subscriptions

Fees for term-based or annual tuition programmes are payable in advance and are non-refundable once the term has commenced.

Missed sessions due to student absence are not eligible for refund. Students are encouraged to catch up on missed work and, where available, may attend a parallel class as a replacement.

Refunds for tuition fees will only be issued at the discretion of the Director in exceptional circumstances, such as long-term illness with medical evidence provided.
One-off Workshops and Short Courses

One-off courses and workshops are non-refundable upon booking.

In exceptional cases, credit may be offered for future sessions at the Director’s discretion.
Physical Products (Books, Learning Resources, Merchandise)

Products purchased online or onsite may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Refunds for returned products will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of receiving the returned goods.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds will not be issued for digital downloads, printed personalised resources, or materials damaged through misuse.
Provider Cancellations

If a session or course is cancelled by Love Literacy/Love Education CIC, an alternative date or equivalent provision will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund for that session will be issued.
